Gov. A E Rice announces the Willmar farmers institute will be held March 14 and 15 with Forest Henry and assistants directing. A Willmar rally on March 16 will feature State Highway Engineer Cooley. A concert by Elenora Olson Company is planned for February 16.

Home talent scored another success Monday presenting An Unequal Match to a crowded house. The cast, led by Forsberg as Joseph Garland, delivered a strong performance with Mrs Geo W Johnson and others shining. Receipts reached 230, about 130 going to St Luke's Men's Club. Frances Willard Memorial event to follow with a 10 cent collection.

Lewis Johnson and Lars Molire toured the Copper Creek and Minnesota Arizona mining claims for four days. Johnson praised the properties equipment and management stating several promising ore bodies and a planned concentrate mill to produce 250 tons daily soon. The six carloads already shipped yielded 3644 dollars with rail access expected within six miles. Sibleys leading the project were praised as capable and industrious.

Obituary for Martha Quam of Willmar
Martha Otos Quam wife of A P Quam died last Sunday evening at her home after a paralysis stroke from a cerebral hemorrhage. Funeral services were conducted by Rev Michaelson at the house and Lutheran Free church with interment at Fairview. Born May 22 1850 in Yttre Rendalen Norway she was 59 years 8 months 17 days old. She came to the United States in 1874 and married in 1875, living in Donnelly Willmar and Benson before returning to Willmar. Eight children were born five living Olga Jennie Renhart Adolph at home H L Nelson of Sioux City and a sister Oline and brothers K T B I J T Otos of this city survive along with other relatives.

Zenith Fuel Saver and Smoke Abater plans big plant
The Zenith Fuel Saver and Smoke Abater board approved a $150,000 stock issue, to fund a new factory starting April 1 with 160 employees and a $9000 monthly payroll. Edmonrd Poliquin will manage the sale with offices in Montreal and St. Paul, and a prospectus detailing stock and the company patent will be distributed to prospective investors.
