Duroc Hog Sale At Willmar Draws Breeders

A large turnout of Duroc breeders from across Minnesota and neighboring states attended the Willmar sale hosted by John Swenson and the Meydato Farms. Swenson and Spicers staged afternoon and evening sales at the Farmers Co operative Elevator Company warehouse with a banquet where talks urged forming a Kandiyah County Duroc Association. The Meydato sale totaled 7665 dollars at an average of 150.85 per hog, while numerous buyers from Willmar and nearby towns purchased animals in the Swenson sale.

Deputy to Assist in Filling Out Returns in Willmar
