A large turnout of Duroc breeders from across Minnesota and neighboring states attended the Willmar sale hosted by John Swenson and the Meydato Farms. Swenson and Spicers staged afternoon and evening sales at the Farmers Co operative Elevator Company warehouse with a banquet where talks urged forming a Kandiyah County Duroc Association.
