Royal Neighbors lodge elects officers at Willmer meeting
The local Camp of Royal Neighbors held its annual meeting at Bonde hall with a large attendance. New officers were installed for the coming year, including Past Oracle Mrs. Ida Kent and Oracle Mrs. Mary Ward, with a full slate of other posts and two managers. A dance was planned for Feb 14 at Bonde hall, tickets 75 cents, refreshments 10 cents, replacing a valentine serial. New London Milling Gains Control Of Willmar Mill
The New London Milling company has secured controlling interest in the Willmar Milling company. The Willmar firm will keep its name and deputy head, with management passing to New London. The Willmar mill, incorporated in 1902 with I A Thorpe as president and Peter Hinges as secretary treasurer, plans additions including elevators and around the clock operation while Hong remains until a successor is found.

Farmers in Dist No 48 Tennessee plan a mass meeting to discuss closing Atwater saloon. A literary program is set for Friday afternoon with public invitation. Mies Melinds Hayenative of Spicer has left school due to ill health. The last semester opened Monday and final exams are Friday. A debate on whether navigation has benefited humanity more than railroads will be held. The High School Budget will be revived and a humming school paper may keep students updated locally.
