C H Lindstead a Willmar shoe repairman and former Great Northern railroad man died after a weeklong illness from appendicitis. Born 1866 in Smaland Sweden he immigrated as a child and built a local life with a family of six children. Burial set for Saturday at 1:80 with church services and firemen and Woodmen lodge aiding arrangements.

No. 32, the north bound train from Sioux City to Sandstone, was struck at St. Cloud on Wednesday afternoon. Three people were injured, two seriously. The Within bound for Sandstone had Waxtu on a siding to let No. 4 pass, but the brakeman could not throw the switch, causing the coast flyer to crash into the rear of the local. The accident occurred at 5:50 P.M.
