Tragic Death Near City Involving Olof Bergstrom
A gruesome discovery found the body of Olof H Bergstrom of Hector Minn near a rail line between Willmar and Pennock. He showed multiple head injuries and a possible fall from a moving freight train. Coroner inquest began as relatives traveled from Hector and Vermland Sweden to notify the family.

Theodore Mazure, section band member, sues Great Northern for 851,250 after a 1909 Maple Plain wreck left him a paraplegic invalid. Wedding ceremonies mark two unions in South Dakota and North Dakota
In Granite Falls last Saturday a wedding was solemnized in Sioux Falls between Henry Wendell Grami, manager of a local Cos Commission Co., and Leona Grace Ackley of Laverne. The couple will reside at 123 Litchfield in Willmar after December 20. A separate wedding near Grus, Grand Forks area united Peter C. Sorenson and Sophie L Johnson at 11:30 AM with Rev E E Gynild officiating. Guests included Willmar residents and family, with plans to settle on the groom’s farm amid warm wishes.

Pioneer Lady Ranghild Engen Dies at 84 in Arctander
Mrs Ranghild Engen wife of Christopher Hansen Engen one of Arctanders early pioneers died December 4 after lingering illness. Born in Namedal Norway in 1830 she was 84. Survived by son Sven Gunderson nearly 95. Funeral held at Norway Lake Hauge church with Rev J S Halverin officiating.
