Fergus division loses Joseph Lindsay. several Sioux City officials move. Six families relocate, housing scarce. A committee was named to study leveling and grading on the race track grounds and a plan to fund an athletic field in Willmar was discussed. Delegates were chosen for the state agricultural society and a full day program with dinner for stockholders was proposed.

Housekeepers Club Meets With Officers to Be Elected

The next regular meeting of the housekeepers club is set for Saturday afternoon December 6 at eight o clock. Refreshments will be served by eight members and a program of musical selections plus a special paper will be read. Officers for the ensuing year will be elected and all members are urged to attend.

Miss Sanderson Leads Third in Benson Show

The second annual Corn and Alfalfa Show of the West Central Minnesota Development Association, held in Benson last week, drew hundreds from Kandiyohi county. Miss Ida Sanderson placed third in the queen contest as Morris and Stevens county dominance noted. Gov. A. O. Eberhart crowned the winner Margaret Eckes. County prize results celebrated Kandiyohi growers with multiple awards for ears of yellow dent, white dent, and red dent corn, plus ten and one hundred twenty ear categories.

Willmar Census Totals and Local Guessing Contest

Willmar Tribune reports the city population at 5 217 in its new city directory. The census excludes outside students but includes teachers and local workers. Frank E. Holmberg wins the guessing contest with 5 120, followed by M R Simons at 5 111 and Jac Brynhildsen at 5 102.
