Dozens of residents and visitors are listed as Miss Amy Olson, Miss Edna Skoog, and others journey to Petmnock Granite Falls Payneesville Minot Litchfield and beyond. People travel for stays with friends attend summer outings visit relatives and pursue teaching positions with several heading to Crescent Beach Fergus Falls and Boise Idaho for the upcoming season.
Harrison residents report visits and gatherings as J L Grue and E T Erickson from Grune called on E T and M C Gunderson. P A Peterson spent Sunday in Roseville. Hilda Ledell of Willmar renewed friendships locally. Gee Mohn bought an auto and is seen driving daily. D Dahl bought a steam engine for silo work but a busted flue caused trouble. E T Gunderson traveled to Willmar and Maynard for visits and business. Bertha Skoglund from Spicer helped with house work. Anna Ziehl spent Sunday at Irving. Mary Martinson visited her parental home in Spicer. Wm Fick of Cleveland, ND, visited his parents in Harrison. Mrs F C Robhert returned from six weeks with relatives in Fort Wayne, Ind. Billiken remains a noted local mention.
Ringville updates include Nils Iverson visiting Sisseton and seeing his daughter, Hulda Stenerson working at Rasmus Olson’s, and Gee Johnson’s business trip to Willmar. A baby girl arrived for Mr. and Mrs. Rasmus Olson. The Bethania and Gausdahl Ladies Aids met, and Quistbergs attended a Balaton wedding. State Fair plans and a funeral in Iowa are noted. School teaching appointment and a Young People meeting at the Swedish Lutheran church are announced with program details.
Mrs Emma Swenson aged 54 died when a runaway buggy near S J Bergs place northwest of Willmar pitched her from the rig. The bolt failed and the team ran wild. She was buried beside her husband Swen Swenson who died in 1901. funeral attended by many. The widow was born in Kil parish Vormland Sweden and survived by a son Swen Swenson Jr. in sorrow.
Col T Roosevelt will visit Willmar next Sunday between 12 and 12:30 PM aboard a special train from Sioux Falls. The 138 mile run to Willmar with engine baggage car and two Pullmans Forest and Republic is expected to take about four hours. Roosevelt will then go to Fargo Monday where he will speak. Also noted are three farm sales by A H Brown Agency with buyers G Pearson Red Wing $9700, Pred Hoppe Springfield $15660, and Hans Nelson Humble $8000.

Bessie Wright from Litchfield visited Mrs. Amos Lien for Dagmar Jordah’s visit. Clarence Eingland arrived from Minneapolis. Alice Burr returned from visiting her sister in Minneapolis. Mrs. Ole Rice visited her sister in Spicer. Nellie and Betty Person returned to Minneapolis after a week here. The Boyd family returned home to Homewood Park after summer at Eagle Lake. Cora Ronning, guest of Grace Sperry, returned to Watertown. Mrs. D Elmquist has been home from Grove City. Marie and Nannie Nelson and Marie Heberling entertained by Minneapolis friends. Dr. and Mrs. Anderson and Mrs. Engberg of Cambridge visited D Elmquist. Ida and Mabel Mortrud left for Minneapolis after Eagle Lake visit. Children of Conductor Ten returned to school near St. Cloud. Rueben Pullmer left for Grass Lake, Michigan. A G Johnson and children left for Stillwater after two weeks with relatives. P L Sorenson, Harry Odell, Clara Peterson and Manda Larson were dinner guests at Mrs. Ralph Roberts. Fredrick H Wold hosted Dr. Chadbourn and Lloyd from Redwood Falls for a weekend visit.
A 1911 Model Buick runabout will be the prize at the Willmar Street Fair. After agent interviews, a Buick was chosen. the car will be shown at the State fair and then moved to Samuel Osmundson's garage in Willmar. Voting counts grow with new contestants as Clara Allen and others advance. ballots are sold for carnival funds and voting closes Sept 15 at five o'clock.
Roseland residents share news of staff changes at the Roseland store. Grace Bosch becomes the smiling saleslady as Elsie Reitz resigns to attend the State Fair and visit Wisconsin. Multiple local visits, travel plans, and a case of arrest for nonsupport are noted alongside routine farm and family updates.

Justin Georgeson buys a six horsepower International gas engine with mill and emery wheel to offer service locally. Maple Alley Park seeks new seats to better accommodate visitors. Rev M A Sotendshi conducted confirmation at West Lake church. The dam outlet of the Great Lakes was dynamited last week threatening Sand Lake West Lake and sciay Lake. Miss Mary Nelson of Lake Andrew stayed with sister Ida for a weekend.
