Mrs Mary Lof also known as Maria Swenson Lot died at her daughter J O Hagmans home in Matre on Monday August 26 at age 96 years 4 months and 15 days. Born in Malung Parish Sweden on April 11 1822 she married Jonas Swenson Lot in 1848 and emigrated with children to America twenty years later settling on a homestead in section 24 town of Mamre Kandfyohi county.

Survived by husband and five children Arthur Clifford Norman Mary Arnold. two sons in military service Arthur in a machine gun company and Clifford in the marines. Funeral held Tuesday with services at home and Synod church conducted by Rev J N Andersen. Interment in Synod cemetery. Pallbearers listed.
