Local merchants farmers and Kandiy County residents are urged to attend for four days of safe family fun with balloon ascensions parachute leaps high diving feats loop to loop shows and concerts by Meola Alpins band plus performances by Vallero Duo and Signor Frisco.

Conductor Harry Smith Injured Ejecting Drunk Passenger
Conductor Harry Smith, upon arrival of train No 5 from St Paul, was taken from the Great Northern depot to Grand Central for medical care after severely straining his back while ejecting a drunken tramp at the Soo junction north of Minneapolis. He returned to St Paul this afternoon. The assailant resisted and four men helped subdue him.

Little Eva Johnson Hurt In Scantling Nail Accident

Train Delay After Accident Near Cokato
The St Paul Winnipeg train failed to arrive by 11:10 p m Saturday due to a wreck near Cokato. The middle driver’s journal broke and part of the aide rod dropped the wheel, stopping the engine after about two train lengths. Engineer Chas Lowe halted the crippled locomotive. The Willmar Soo City train assisted, delaying arrival until 7 a m Sunday. repairs followed and service resumed with a heavier engine.

Local youths suffer field accident and wedding noted
Lawrence Pederson son of John Pederson of Kandiyobi was injured when kicked by a pasture horse while plowing with his father. He received stitches for a forehead wound and is recovering. State Fair Program Promises Notable Year Ahead

St. Cloud pair returned after fugitive journey
Sheriff John P. Bernick escorted Miss Augusta Kendal fifteen and Elmer Clark from St. Cloud as prisoners. The couple ran away about three weeks earlier with Kendal claiming Clark was her husband. They traveled to Paynesville New London Benson where Clark worked at a hotel. August Kendal filed a warrant, and police tracked them down at Benson. They appeared cheerful as they headed home to confront the father and justice.

Two judgments were entered Monday in the clerk of court’s office. Erick Dalen Threshing Company of Ole Rime Norway Lake faced a judgment of 304.92 for the plaintiff. Lahoda Brow va Joseph Blecha Roseland town faced a judgment of 66.72 against the defendant. Both cases were tried at the last term of district court. Will Play at Kerkhoven. Car jumped the track injuring a passenger rider
