Found Dead in Wheat Field Near Tennessee Farmer
The body of August Maschger, 26, a solitary Tennessee farmer, was found in a wheat field near his home last Friday afternoon. Last seen August 4, he had acted strangely and reportedly faced a second degree assault case involving neighbor Dennis Wheeler. A bottle with morphine was found, leading authorities to believe self-inflicted death. Maschger had recently posted bail of 900 dollars and had been released before the incident.
