Willmar Juvenile Band Impresses Crowd At Open Air Park Concert
The Willmar Juvenile Band gave an unadvertised open air concert in the park drawing a large attentive audience. Led by Prof Emil Hegatrom the 24 youths aged up to 18 displayed impressive talent and promise. The performance, intended as practice, earned widespread praise and suggests Willmar may soon boast a proud band again.

Stranger deemed insane after wandering pasture in New London
A Swede named Larson aged 42 was found wandering naked in a pasture near New London. He was examined by Probate Court Commissioner Samuel Nelson and declared insane. He was sent to Fergus Falls hospital under deputy Freese. Larson claimed police pursued him and spoke of a funeral procession. His father and mother were murdered years earlier in Sweden.

Lindh died suddenly last Thursday at 11 a m at Wm Thompsons home 144 Litchfield avenue after long heart trouble Born February 25 1855 in Oppmanns parish Kristiantadsjo Sweden he joined the Swedish army at 17 and served until 1882 Then emigrated to Minnesota lived in Fahlun Kandiyohi County before moving to Willmar three years ago to live with his sister Mrs Thompson Funeral was held Saturday with Rev G Peterson officiating and interment at Tripolia cemetery He leaves a father and three sisters Mrs Aug Lundqulot Mrs Thompson and Mrs Nils Anderson plus many friends
