Dr B J Branton plans a handsome hospital on Fourth street at Becker avenue Willmar with a 75 by 40 foot footprint and space for future expansion The building will have a full basement two stories no third floor electric elevator fireproof floors and signals via electric lights Eight patient rooms on the first floor plus offices and a basement nurse dormitory The project budget is about 20000 and a front view cut is expected to be printed later Dr J R Petersen will leave Willmar around June 1 to practice elsewhere, reducing local medical ties.

Obituary of Mrs Anna Hanson of Willmar
Mrs Anna Hanson wife of Per Hanson aged 72 years 5 months 16 days died at home in Willmar last Friday. The couple had no children and the funeral was held Monday at the Swedish Bethel church with Rev G Peterson officiating. Interment was the first in the Bethel church cemetery southwest of the city. Also reported is the wedding of Laura Wigdahl to Abraham Dahlen at the parsonage with Rev Michaelson officiating. The couple will reside in Minneapolis where Dahlen works for a Transit Company.

Mr and Mrs Ben Benson hosted a six o clock dinner last Sunday at 715 A street in compliment to Mr and Mrs E E Abrahamson who leave for Europe and L C Larson and sister Miss Martha who went to Walia Mont. Pink and white carnations adorned the table with fourteen covers. Miss Elizabeth McLaughlin learned Sunday of her mother's illness. she died in Roseau Minn and is to be buried in Litchfield today. The McLaughlin family once lived in Willmar.

Rumors speak of a large scale building boom in Willmar with Kandiyohi County Bank and First National Bank possibly erecting blocks on Fifth Street. If the Kandiyohi County Bank builds, an adequate opera house may follow though bank officials will not authorize statements.

Tallman to build office on Fifth and Litchfield
D N Tallman plans a two story 25 by 70 foot office building on the corner of Fifth street and Litchfield avenue near the Simons gallery. It will house the Tallman Investment Company offices and cost about 10000 dollars. Construction depends on architect plans and contract letting. He also expands his garage with an east entrance from Litchfield avenue to handle eastbound car traffic. Weber Berg wedding joins Elizabeth Weber and William E Berg at the Synod parsonage with Rev J N Andersen officiating. The couple leaves for a North Dakota wedding trip and will reside west of the city.

April 28 note reports the Green Lake Swedish Lutheran church will hold a program and social next Friday evening with Rev. Chr. Swenson speaking on ritual and services. Music and singing planned.
