Willmar Water and Light Approves Plant Improvements

Great Northern gravel pit opens near New London
Monday the Great Northern road began gravel pit work at New London with 80 workers and special trains to haul ballast along the Sioux City line. The project, expected to last six weeks, provides extra employment mostly for Italian laborers and boosts railroad activity in the area.
