Marks Epoch In Our Schools Beside New Building Opening
On Thursday evening April 13 a new industrial building opens with a program at the High School auditorium. The program features music, local history, recent legislation, agricultural work, and the future of Willmar High School. Exhibits by the work of the schools will be open Thursday evening from 6 30 and remain Friday and Saturday. Classes in manual training cooking and sewing will operate Thursday 7 00 to 8 00. No admission is charged.

New Pastor Installed at Eagle Lake and Bethesda Homes
Rev. E. A. Larson was installed as pastor of Eagle Lake church and Bethesda Homes on Sunday, April 9. The service, conducted by Rev. E. E. Gynild of Fargo, drew a large Willmar attendance. Larson, from Marinette Wisconsin, is a prominent Free church minister and treasurer of the Home Mission Board, touted as a vigorous leader for the pastorate. He previously served at Eagle Lake. Axel Elfstrum and a State University classmate designed a complete Willmar sewer system in their graduation project, earning early praise for the civil engineering work. Three-year-old Ceamford Craye of Howard Lake suffered a broken hipbone and knee bruises after a rope trap incident while playing with his brother. The History Club plans its annual dinner at Mrs. J. H. Martin’s home, with Supt. and Mrs. P. C. Tanning of St. Paul as expected visitors.

A baby girl was born to Mr and Mrs Ernest Swenson, and the Swedish Lutheran Bethel Ladies Society plans an April 20 meeting with a listed serving crew.
