Pioneer Resident Jerry Leary Dies After Prolonged Illness
Jerry Leary, a Willmar pioneer resident since 1863, died last Sunday at 6:30 a.m. at his brother Barney Leary’s home after a four year illness from catarol of the stomach. He was 86 years old and leaves four brothers and four sisters, with substantial real estate holdings in Willmar. The funeral, at St Mary’s Catholic Church, was conducted by multiple priests and followed Catholic rites at the local cemetery.

Three or four nightly visitors aided, Jennings crawled to freedom while Shields, awaiting trial for a murder near Kerkhoven, also attempted escape but hid. Farmer Found Insane Near Grove City
Ole Dyrhaug a farmer near Grove City was judged insane in probate court after examination by Dr. Frost Dr. Ralnn and Judge A F Nordin. He was sent to Fergus Falls hospital by Sheriff Lundquist and neighbor Oscar Nelson. His wife described a long illness after head injury and epileptic fits. she will care for him, but recovery seems unlikely.
