Explosion of Boiler at R H Great Northern Round House
A boiler room blast at the Great Northern round house last Friday night wrecked the west end of the building and damaged yard facilities. The stationary boiler exploded near midnight, throwing one man, Axel Gustafson, into a coal bin and injuring him slightly, while the whistle saved him from the main blast.
