Kandiyohi March 30. Lydia Glacer of Lake Elizabeth visited J Enblom s last week. Miss Acps Anderson of Atwater spent Sunday at home. John Anderson traveled to Willmar Thursday. Mr and Mrs Jonas Berg of Atwater visited Peter Norman s one day last week. Anna Enblom of Whitefield spent weekend at home. Dr Gibson of Atwater attended Ernest De Foe who is very ill. Jonas Bengtson hosted friends Sunday. School opens in Dist 84 today. Miss Mar Enblom returned to Willmar today. Hilma Normen returned to her school last Monday. Fred Holm of Atwater visited Peter Norman s Sunday week ago. The debate in Dist 41 last Thursday addressed liquor licensing in cities and villages.
The Irving Creamery Association has purchased a tract of land on the Letter's farm near Laks Koronis and will immediately begin construction of a new facility. The move signals expansion for the cooperative and includes plans to erect a processing station to serve the region.
Agnes Nasset oldest daughter of A O Nasset died last Saturday after a illness from typhoid fever and subsequent complications. Born April 19 1886 she was nearly sixteen. Funeral was held last Monday at the Synod cemetery with Rev Extrem officiating. The family receives community sympathy.
John Ostland of Pennock traveled to New London to oversee repairs on the creamery and will assume charge after fixes are completed. Farmers in the area are expected to supply milk, supporting Ostland’s efforts to produce butter.
The year’s water rents totaled 1 729.92 with 36 new permits issued at 249.60 in rents. Delinquent rents amount to 10.0, reflecting a portion of unpaid dues.

Ex Governor John Lind purchased the 160 acre O'Brien farm at Lake Minnewashia in Carver county two miles from Excelsior. The sod land has a large sugar bush and Lind plans to supervise its work, build a residence, and use it as a country home spending six months yearly at the Ink Indiana Minneapolis Journal.
