Jeweler M. G. Coleman beds rest with fever while Stony Creek Dairy Co offers high prices for milch cows. Various locals and business notices report travels, sales, church services, and a Republican judicial convention set for Sept 25 in Rugby. A jailed horse thief, a new gas lamp, and a brick residence project share space in this Williston roundup.
The Williston area reports a near completion of a new house west of town by Carl Wittmeier with modern utilities. Other notices include a Main Street sale listing Lequire of Coretano & Overson, local business updates, stray horse notice, visits from relatives, typhoid recovery, and upcoming performances of Uncle Josh Spruceby at the Opera House with a large cast and scenery.

Fort Buford reports General Nelson A. Miles arrives by private car with wife and son Sherman Miles. The party meets Mr. Mercer and tours the fort, visiting hunting grounds and familiar sites. Mrs Miles tours with Mercer daughters as Miles heads west toward Fort Assinniboine and Miles City before returning to Washington.
The Comptroller of the Currency declares The First National Bank of Williston North Dakota authorized to commence banking. Evidence presented shows compliance with federal statutes and banking authority granted in Williams County. صادر
