Man Dies After Touching Electrical Bulb

Fargo North Dakota September 5 Gunder Arntuon a timer died after touching an ordinary electric light bulb in the basement of C R Stones residence. He exclaimed My God this is awful and collapsed. It is unclear if electrocution or heart failure caused death.

DUMPS MAIL IN RIVER BY RUNAWAY HORSE

Rural mail carrier David Imhoff of Le Sueur loses control as his bay horse bolts fifteen miles to Rush River. The buggy is smashed against a tree and dumped into the water. the horse collapses, then regains energy to break free from the wreck near a steep hill and is caught soon after.

Milwaukee Foreman Shot by Burglary Suspect

Paul Langen of Milwaukee foreman of the Milwaukee worsted bills was shot and likely fatally wounded by a burglar yesterday morning. The intruder forced a window with a garden spade and tried to flee as Langen grappled with him. The burglar remains at large.

Storm wrecks homes in St Louis amid severe heat surge

A severe thunderstorm in St Louis on September 5 struck Newstead avenue, ripping the front wall of Frederick Brock Schmidt's home and stunning his family of four. Four flat buildings collapsed into the street, many houses lost roofs, and trees were blown down.
