Young ManRescued After Throat Cutting Attempt at Depot
A 22-year-old man named Thomas Brady attempted suicide by cutting his throat with a razor after heavy drinking. The wound spanned ear to ear, arteries severed, Dr. Van Dyke dressed the injury, sewing 24 stitches. He was moved to a jail hospital and, aside from the gash and blood loss, was resting and not visibly worse the next day.
