Fatal Hunting Accident Claims E W Uhlman Near Williston
In McKenzie county last Saturday forenoon E W Uhlman was accidentally shot and killed while hunting near his ranch with Garl Erickson's boy and Nat Boyd. The incident occurred about eleven o'clock when birds flushed and a shotgun discharge struck Uhlman in the back of the head. Funeral services were held Monday at ten in the Congregational church, conducted by Rev. Bloom with Rev. Shaw assisting. Masonic rites followed at the cemetery. Born September 9 1889 in Roberts, North Dakota, he was 25 and married Dora Boyd May 24 1912. The community extends sympathy to his wife, mother, and relatives.
