Jail Sentence Given Fredrickson
Albert Fredrickson was arrested on a drunkenness and disorderly charge. He paid five dollars and costs due to default, then was sent to the county jail for ten days. An auction at the Great Northern Hotel corner last Saturday raised seventy dollars for the United War Work Drive, with donated vegetables coal poultry and cigars sold.

A Chicago paper reported the death of lawyer C C Converse but another man by the name Charles Croz Converse, born October 17 1832 in Warren Massachusetts, died at his Englewood New Jersey home. He authored the hymn What A Friend We Have in Jesus.
