Williston High Seeks Football Victory and School News

Students plan a circular letter to send to Camp Greene soldiers who were former high schoolers. The high school spirit remains strong despite absences during Halloween week, and a football game against Minot is hoped to highlight real merit. Receipts and expenses for the game are listed, showing a $426.42 total and a deficit share by 79 signatories. The community thanks business leaders for support to cover the deficit. Plans to open a Telegraphy School for drafted men advance, with Minot and Fargo clubs contributing about $1,000 each to their programs. Williston’s project aims to operate with government-supplied instrument keys and sounders once arrival is confirmed.
