County Commissioner T C Gaines and KS Bishop of Great Falls were injured in a prairie runaway near town. The buggy harness failed on a descent causing the team to bolt. Gaines suffered head and shoulder injuries and remains at the Great Northern hotel under care. Bishop walked with crutches and planned to return home.
