Mrs Masse Edelman of Williamsburg caressed her ten month old on the front stoop when a ball struck the infant on the head. The skull was fractured and the child died soon after. Neighbors rushed the baby to a doctor but the family believes the accident was purely accidental.
Senator M. Qay grew worse and was taken to his Beaver Pennsylvania home from Moranseal yesterday. He stood the journey well but remains in frail condition. he was carried into the house from a closed carriage after being met by family and friends. He spent a quiet night and showed little improvement yesterday morning.
Jewelry worth 18000 stolen from the Chicago home of John W. Kiser. Diamonds and emeralds were locked away in a chiffoniere Saturday night and disappeared by Sunday as Mrs. Kiser attempted to wear them. Detectives assigned, no trace yet.
