Minot May 19 Experienced criminals blew open the Granville post office safe with nitro glycerin and looted contents while ripping mail sacks. The big safe was demolished and the post office wrecked. few clues to the perpetrators as the suspects fled on a train. A watch was recovered later, connected to a separate pocket-book theft, leaving a minimal sum for the thief.

Boy Hurt When Auto Strikes at Main and Broadway
Clarence Bennell, sixteen, son of Mr and Mrs Bennell, had left leg broken six inches above the knee after an automobile driven by Chas Ulrich of Springbrook struck him near Main and Broadway Friday at about 7 30. The car rode onto the sidewalk and returned to the street. Ulrich will cover all medical expenses and no charges will be filed as no speeding or legal violation is evident.
