A new board including A A Avallll G W Newton and Chas Baldwin took oath of office with A L Butler as clerk. Baldwin elected chairman and officers bonded under various sums. Town Marshal Maderson named street commissioner and pound master with salary. A A Anatill named purchasing agent. Trustees adopt no compensation for term and urge Williston papers to publish proceedings as news without pay. May 14 1900 tax levy of 350 authorized and clerk instructed to procure necessary funds with several election and jail bills tabbed.
