Catholic Church Trustees Elected for New Edifice on Broadway
The Catholic Committee met at John Heffernan’s residence on March 23 and elected N. E. Prudhomme Thomas Rhes and Joseph Cartier as trustees. They authorized a building committee to supervise construction of a 30 by 50 foot church on the George Purvis donated site facing Broadway. Foundation work starts at once with rock smelting at noon and all interested urged to contribute before spring work begins.
