Rumors of Russian Sailors Shot and War Dispatches

Bridge Collapse Kills Six on Yellow Creek Bridge Near Irondale

Six men drowned and four injured when a bridge on the Cleveland and Pittsburg railroad collapsed over Yellow Creek near Irondale after two work trains crossed in close succession. The bridge weakened by a cloudburst, two engines were returning to Wellsville for water. all eleven crew members fell, one surviving as flagman.
