Irrigation Lands Withdrawn From Homestead Claims
The Graphic reports from the Mivet Land Office that about 260000 acres are withdrawn from homestead privileges under the Reclamation Act. The action affects vacant tracts listed across townships 155 to 159 and ranges 99 to 101, with many sections previously filed under homestead laws. Government irrigation surveyors in the city will thoroughly examine the case, and withdrawals do not alter prior filings within specified townships.
