Bomb Rioters Strike San Francisco Parade Crowd
A suitcase bomb exploded on Market Street during a large Pacific coast preparedness parade killing at least six and wounding about 40. The blast shattered windows, toppled people, and sent ambulances racing as police and veterans bore the scene. Frank Joseph Finch, a sailor, was arrested in connection with the outrage.

Pioneer Kid Lampman Dies In Miles City
Lampman known as Kid Lampman died at his East Broadway home after years of poor health. Born in 1866 at Cleveland Minnesota, he came to Montana in 1885, served as Wilham County sheriff after a Klondike trek, and left a wife and siblings. Funeral planned for Friday at 2:30 pm.
