Carl LaBrose Dies in Little Rock Arousing Local Notice

Mrs Snyder reports Carl LaBrose died in Little Rock on July 24 1905 and will be sent to Williston for burial. He was a Fort Buford Lodge No 18 I C C F member and a Williston Camp No 5396 M W A member and long time foreman on the Great Northern railway bridge crew. Arrival of the remains to Williston likely Saturday.

Gratitude Expressed to John Bruegger in Irrigation Effort

In Trenton North Carolina on July 22 1905 residents of the Ruse Valley thank Mr John Bruegger for aiding irrigation project efforts. They credit him with reviving hope after near despair and praise the Brueggers as longtime friends to new settlers.

Williston School District selects Citizens State Bank as depository

The board approved Citizens State Bank as depository for Williston Special School District funds after bid review. The bank supplied a financial statement. First National Bank of Williston did not. A $5,000 bond requirement was set, with motion carried and all present voting aye. A janitor position for the heating plant and building was authorized.
