Antedated Cavalier at Fort Berthold Dies
Charles Molnorie died recently at Fort Berthold Indian Agency at age 16 when he arrived in 1847. A native of France, he came as a youth and spent years on the upper Missouri river. He served as a post trader at the agency for years and later worked around the agency, being among the earliest settlers and the last of Fort Berthold's post traders.
