The Fort Worth Stock Yards built a large dipping plant for the bureau of animal industry. Cattle were dipped in an extra dynamo oil bath to kill Texas fever parasites. A train of 311 Texas cattle were dipped, four died from travel heat, none of the parasites survived. Cattle shipped to Rockford Indiana showed all stayed in good condition.
