Protective Live Stock Association Formed in North Dakota
A group of western North Dakota stock growers organized the Protective Live Stock association at Dickinson to combat theft. Membership costs 2 dollars with must raise cattle or horses to join. An assessment up to 5 cents per head may fund actions against thieves. About thirty members have joined, with Dan Manning as president and C. G. Simpson as secretary and treasurer. Annual meetings will be in Dickinson, the Thursday after the third Tuesday in April.

Old Settlers Reunion in Chautauqua Mired by Rain
The Old Settlers reunion at Chautauqua drew a damp day with a rain forecast forcing barbecue and picnic curtailment. Hon. F H Prosser led the event and Governor White praised the group in a talk. Officers re elected include F H Prosser president Henry Hale secretary and Dave McCann treasurer with county vice presidents pending.
