Young man struck by auto on Broadway
Alva Garritson, twenty two, was struck and dragged by a Ford auto driven by Julius Nelson while crossing near Irrigation ditch bridge. He suffered head bruising and hair ground off on the right side. He was taken to Wittenberg hospital and Dr. Dochterman operated to check for fracture. none found. Nelson and Garrison were eastbound. Garrison crossed suddenly. Witnesses say Nelson was not speeding. the incident mirrors a prior street accident.
