Hand Crushed In Machinery At Meat Plant
Bert Alexander, an engineer at the meat power plant, suffered a severe right hand crush injury in the gearing last Friday. One side of the hand including a forefinger was badly damaged and requires amputation. He receives sympathy and prayers along with $80 per month compensation for accident insurance.

Went To Mondak Never Came Back
Harry C. Hanson a single man about 30 was found dead January 14 in a Mondak hotel bedroom with a rope around his neck. Police state it appears a self inflicted death. He owned the Breen mine six miles east of Mondak and employed four men. He spent time in Montana town since Christmas and is said to have squandered about 308 dollars. Ole Breen appointed special administrator of the estate amid no known relatives in this country.

The Third Annual Williams County Agricultural Short Course will be the best and most expensive yet, with projected costs over 125 dollars. Wilke’s entries rank high among 126 pens totaling 680 birds with scores from 87.5 to 91 percent. the Wilke pen places second in several categories and sixth in others, while judge W. K.
