Sheriff Erickson and Deputy Axel Strom captured Gus Lippins near Ray and returned him to Minnesota to await the visiting officer from the reform school. Lippins, about 20, had escaped from the school months ago. He learned his brother A R Baker lived in the state and headed to Williston to meet him, reuniting with William R Baker after sixty one years. The pair had earlier left Wisconsin for California with a wagon and ox team, a six month journey filled with hardships. William R Baker never returned to his boyhood haunts, living in California ever since.

Brothers Meet After Years in Willis ton Event
In Willis ton two brothers aged 83 and 75 living in different states, William R. Baker of California and A. R. Baker of Hope North Dakota, reunited after sixty one years. The meeting was arranged by S. D. Scott, A. R. Baker’s son-in-law, who learned of a surviving brother during a trip to California. Scott located William R. Baker and brought him to meet his brother.

One Hundred French Art Pictures On Display At Library
Miss Baldwin secured a collection of one hundred copies of French Art through the state library board. The exhibit is set for Saturday afternoon March 1 1913 in the library auditorium. Trefoil club members will serve lunch whose proceeds will help buy additional pictures. The exhibit is a rare chance as the collection will be here only for that Saturday.
