The Stony Creek Dairy Co offers cash for fresh milch cows. Dr Crewe, Veterinary Surgeon from Devils Lake, was in town Tuesday. Overcoats advertised by Falkenppincit Bros Co. Mrs Nic Zirbes of White Earth transacted business Saturday. A F and Geo W Noble of Buford visited earlier in the week. The McCormack family moved into the former Wittmeier home. Ladies Aid crafts supper and sale scheduled for tomorrow evening. Books and travel goods advertised by Falkenppincit. R H Kennedy, late of Canada, arrived Monday and works at Snyder's barber shop. Geo H Hector and wife of New York visiting Buford, were in Williston Friday. Mrs Rector is sister to the Noble brothers. John C Packer stayed home, may travel to coast later. Regular local rates apply for announcements or entertainments with admission. Geo H Olmsted, Great Northern Railway tax agent, in town settling county taxes. M G Coleman announces new stock of silverware and Christmas jewelry arriving in a week. A wreck occurred on the Great Northern near Cal yesterday morning. three rear coaches derailed, several injured, three killed. Rail spread blamed. A Desang Club meeting at Opera Hall formed the Good Time Club with committees, planning holiday events.

Grammar Department Prepares for Term’s Test Day
Henghe McGrew was absent due to illness. Alfred Comfascum called this week in Miss Leonhardy’s room. Henry Newton missed school for broken glasses. The Grammar Department collected seven dollars for their picture. New dictionaries and Evanline copies arrived for students. Christusa presente prep by Miss Leonhardy’s scholars. School ends December 22 with exit work. Earlier, Ira Poe sprained an elbow. Dr. Belyea summoned. Grammar and High School were entertained Friday by ninth grade with recitations essays and original stories.

An 1900 correspondence from J. G. Breowy praises the Big Block Show in Chicago as surpassing the World's Fair in magnificence and spectacle. He notes beef prices at 15 cents per pound, a short-horn cow and calf priced at 40, and a fine shorthorn bull at 61.50, reporting visitors from the U S, Canada, and abroad and plans to return to the Missouri river ranch after witnessing the grand event.
