Williston North Dakota December 10 1901 James N Bain arrested two weeks ago on complaint by Stock Inspector Stafford for illegally branding cattle of the Eston Broa of Medora and taken to Dickinson by Sheriff John Goodall. Cattle proved to have come from Billy Miles of Billings Montana who bought them from Eaton Bron Moran. The letter suggests Inspector Stafford should review his cases and implies Bain may sue someone.
