Arrest of Carl Hanson in Murder Case Near Tagus

Williston officials arrest Carl Hanson and his brother on a murder charge connected to the killing of a man named Alfonz Lamay. Williston men mix business with pleasure visit

E Dyer formerly of Hannaford now of Hoffland visited this city with George Hutchinson last Friday. Percy Giles suffers a severe blood poisoning in left hand arm and shoulder. several abscesses were lanced by Dr Clancy and he is improving rapidly. A Montgomery Minnesota dispatch says the sugar beet crop has been harvested yielding from 60 to 30 per acre, about 150 carloads shipped last month, with acreage expected to double next season.

Actress Kate Hassett Shot by Jealous Lover in Philadelphia

In Philadelphia on December 3 Kate Hassett 28 leading woman of Keith's Eighth Street Theater Stock company was shot and killed by Barry Johnston formerly with Richard Mansfield's company. Johnston then shot himself in the breast in a suicide attempt. he survived. Jealousy is believed to be the motive.
