Club Festival Promises Enthralling Gates Roller Event

Two local clubs prepare a large festival at Gates Roller rink tomorrow night with booths around the hall. A small admission will grant entry to an eagerly awaited program, with proceeds benefitting Williston public library purchases planned for the near future.

Watkins Crosby Wedding in Minot Ceremony Performed

William Watkins and Miss Hannah Crosby united in marriage in Minot last Saturday. Rev N E Elsworth of the Episcopal church officiated. Both parties are well known in the city and the Graphic joins friends in congratulating the couple.

Lunsford and Hill Wed in City Ceremony

Frank Lunsford and Miss Emma Hill both of Williston were married Tuesday evening in the city. Lunsford has served as a special police officer and Hill works at the Great Northern Cafe. The couple now live in rooms above the Arcade Restaurant after Lunsford bought a half interest in it.

Committee to select Williston experimental farm

A special committee of the Williston Commercial club arrived in the city to inspect farms offered for an experimental farm. The panel includes Prof. Linfield of Montana, Prof. Shephard of the N. D. A. C., and Mr. Costello of the Great Northern. They will choose the most suitable site for the project.

Miller and Cox Taken to Minot for Horse Stealing Hearing

Robert Miller and Abraham Cox were bound over to McKenzie county district court on horse stealing charges after a preliminary hearing before Justice O G Rosing. Bonds were set at 1500 each, and deputies moved the pair to Ward county jail when bonds could not be posted.

Farmers Basket Social Near Williston

Farmers living near the grove north of Williston are invited to a basket picnic in the Grove on Labor Day. A committee will oversee visitors and serve free lemonade. Bring a good lunch. arrive by 1 p.m. to enjoy Labor Day and mingle with neighbors.
