Augusta era news reports Leo M. Frank, serving life for Mary Phagan's murder, was lynched near Marietta as crowds looted a Milledgeville prison escape. He was hanged from a tree two miles east of Marietta after being taken by armed automobilists.
Frank Durham twenty, son of Mr and Mrs Durham of Springbrook was found dead Monday evening in the Springbrook township hall three miles east of Springbrook. Coroner Distad said death came from a teaspoonful of strychnine after the youth left a note to his mother blaming trouble with his father. He had been working for L A Morrow near the hall and was described as out of his mind when writing the note. The bottle of poison was from the township supply at Morrow’s. Interment followed in Springbrook cemetery.
In Minot at Dorman's park the Magicians edged Williston 1 0 after a dramatic late inning. Dougherty stole home for the lone run as Cadreau and Clayton spun strong pitching with Cadreau fanning 11 and Clayton 8. Grubbs and Handshu sparked the defense lifting Minot to the win.

Mrs. John Penson of this city received word Saturday of her brother Gordon Hendrixon’s death near Milan Washington. He and another man traveled from Spokane to timber land to select timber. Hendrixon’s body showed two gunshot wounds and robbery of a new suit twenty dollars and a gal watch. A struggle is implied by trampled ground. Francis Hendrixson of Alexander North Dakota left for Spokane and attended the Rathdrum Idaho funeral Tuesday.
The Harleib Concert Company of four highly regarded members will present an entertainment at the Congregational church next Monday evening.
