Crash Kills Two in Train Collision at Lewis
In Kinsley Kansas on August 15 a westbound Atchison Topeka and Santa Fe passenger train crashed into a freight. The passenger train fireman and a yardman were killed while the engineer was seriously injured. In nearby Connecticut Columbo Serrias died trying to save his wife from drowning. Also in Toledo on August 15 a collision between two freights near Fremont killed two men, Brakeman George Wells and George Peck.
