The notice states that plats of survey for townships 150 151 and 155 in ranges 81 85 86 87 88 will be filed May 24 1893 with applications for lands thereafter. North Dakota state authorities have sixty days from May 23 1898 to select funds not covered by adverse claims. Also includes sale offer of 25 head of yearlings and a cattle viewing notice from Williston March 25 1905.
Williston N D April 25 1898 the board of education met. Field Bros bid 1962 50 for second story addition and bond of 4000 was required. Ackerman bid 2287.00 without bond. Field Bros bid accepted and election ordered for May 21 1898 to issue 2500 in bonds to fund repairs construction and new furniture. Trustees McChesney Heffernan to store furniture after term and protect during reconstruction.

Buford Lodge Mast 18 hosted a festive Odd Fellows 70th anniversary in the city Tuesday evening. Guests numbered many, the program pleased all, and the supper prepared by Lam Héen and wife featured stewed laborer no, chicken, ham, tongue, rolls, pastry, pies, fruit, tea and coffee.
Notice states that on May 21 1898 voters in Williston North Dakota will decide on issuing bonds to finance construction of a school building and related needs. Polls open 9 am to 4 pm at the town court house. R H Copeland, Clerk, Williston Special School District, dates April 27 1898.
Notice lists town officers to be elected for terms including one Trustee for the first area, one Trustee for the second, one Trustee for the third, one Clerk, one Treasurer, one Ai, one Justice of the Peace, and one Marshal.
