Mrs Cowan of Leeds Dies After Long Illness
Mrs Alexander Cowan wife of Aluxe doder Cowan of Leeds Noob and mother of Judge John F Cowan died at the hospital Sunday night at ten oclock after a severe attack of la gripe last fall that damaged her lungs. Born in Dumfriesshire Scotland seventy years ago she came to North Dakota with her husband in 1885 and lived at Leeds. She leaves seven children two of whom reside in this county Hon J F Cowan and Davis Cowan of Churches Ferry. Her death is mourned by friends.
