A large Williston school crowd enjoyed Friday's program to support a new library addition. The Hiawatha dramatization and Longfellow readings drew praise for student effort and staging. Earl Richards's violin solo impressed, and the chorus and operetta Mother Goose received warm applause.

School board appoints summer teacher for district
The school board appointed a six month term starting Monday April 30. Farmers are busy with spring work and unable to join games. A gathering is planned on Sunday at 2 PM on the grounds. A pleasant evening occurred at Loughland's Home with music and dancing. The society held a regular meeting Friday with a wood and entertaining program. The school house was crowded and another program will be planned with a small admission fee to cover organ rental.
