In Warren circuit court special Judge Wasson rendered a decision settling the Hottenstein will case. Edward L. Hottenstein and Blanche Pauline Hottenstein sought to re establish the lost will of Charles A. Hottenstein. The court found for Blanche Pauline and quieted Robert C. Hottenstein's title against Edward L. Hottenstein. The original will provided equal land division between brothers. a codicil created a life estate for Robert and equal shares for Blanche and Charles Jr.

Large Barn Burns at Flesher Farm
A large grain and stock barn at Harry Flesher’s northwest of town burned Tuesday night. About 40 tons of hay and grain plus various small items were consumed. Discovered around 11 o’clock, the fire had already gained headway, with loss estimated at $2,500 and no explanation for the blaze.
