Infant Clawson Dies of Pneumonia After Measles
Charles Everett Clawson, aged 13 months, son of Mr and Mrs Lee Clawson near Independence, died Tuesday morning at about 9 o clock from pneumonia resulting from a severe measles episode. Funeral service was held at the family home and burial followed in Armstrong cemetery west of Green Hill.

Miss Julia Martin of Attica died Tuesday morning at 7 10 after a nine week illness of spinal meningitis. She was the oldest daughter of Mr and Mrs Horace B Martin and had lived in Attica all her life. She was a member of Attica high school. Besides her parents she is survived by one sister.
