Elizabeth Crane a native of Warren County Indiana died April 19 at the home of her daughter Mrs. J D Hughes in Venita Oklahoma. Funeral services were held Saturday at 8 from her Independence Kansas home. She was born March 27 1842 and married Horace H Crane in the 1860s. Survived by four children Charles C H O and Fred H and daughter Mrs Hughes.

Elizabeth Hanson nee Lutes born February 17 1857 in Shawneetown Gallatin County Illinois married R P Hall April 4 1876 had two children James Edward Hall born March 20 1877 and Ethel May Hall born May 23 1885 lived in Danville Illinois moved to Williamsport Indiana in 1907 joined G A R Circle served as its president and active worker member of the Methodist church and Missionary and Aid Societies spent winter with daughter before returning to Williamsport died April 29 1923 at age 66 leaving son Edward in Williamsport and daughter Ethel May Davis of Palisades Park New Jersey burial at Highland cemetery funeral at Methodist church conducted by Rev Israel Hatton.

Marlatt Car Found Near Fowler After Theft
Marlatt farm Ford roadster stolen two weeks ago was found six miles north of Fowler last Thursday. A farmer saw two men abandon the car and enter a waiting larger vehicle. Engine numbers matched, sheriff connected it to Marlatt, car recovered by Benton and Warren county officers. Some believe the car was used by bandits who robbed a Lafayette filling station.

Harry Etnire Arrested Again for Wagon Sale Theft
Harry Etnire of Fountain county was arrested again on a warrant sworn by Clarence Butt. Sheriff Dutcher took him into custody on a charge of selling a wagon without the owner’s consent and misusing the proceeds. He was arraigned before Judge Berry, bond set at 200, and he posted it. Trial slated for the latter part of the current term.

Sheriff Dutcher arrested Worrel Wrape on a rape warrant from O'Lebanon Boone county while he worked on a gravel road south of West Lebanon. The arrest occurred Wednesday around 12 30 and the Lebanon chief of police began the return trip with the prisoner by 4 00. Authorities had been seeking Wrape for some time after a Boone county girl reported the assault.
